Be an AGILE Learner
Academic Gains Through Improved Learning Effectiveness (AGILE) strategies involve self-testing, active practice, and making connections between ideas, all of which will maximize your academic time both inside and outside of the classroom. Learn more about these services and resources.
As an online graduate student, you will have the advisory support you need to be successful. Students are assigned a faculty advisor from the time they are admitted.
Your faculty advisor can offer the following:
- Assist you in your academic success
- Provide guidance and mentorship within your academic discipline
- Provide a clear pathway in your progression toward graduation
For general questions, you can count on your Student Coordinator to help answer questions and give ongoing online learning support and guidance.
Blackboard is an online software tool that your instructor will use to teach all or part of your online course. We understand that learning new technology can sometimes be challenging. That’s why we’ve provided basic tutorials and support through our Center for Technology Enhanced Learning.
If you are having technical issues with Blackboard, call the Technology Support Center at 888-728-7054 or email them at email@example.com.
The Bookstore carries all textbooks and course materials for USM classes. Students can rent or order textbooks online through the Bookstore Website.
