My research interests are primarily related to elements in nursing education. However, I am currently involved in research related to the COVID-19 pandemic, identifying common ways that microbes are transmitted, and the best methods to overcome this transmission.

I have a passion for nursing practice and enjoy working with students to expand their knowledge and enhance their values and skills.

What do you think is the biggest challenge in the field in which you teach today?
The profession of nursing is dynamic and ever changing. Nurses must learn to embrace and expect change but must also learn how to effectively manage change.
What advice would you give to those considering a USM online program?
The USM online graduate program will fit your schedule, as the courses are online and asynchronous. Students can fit in the coursework when it is convenient to do so.
