    I want students to feel confident in identifying their dilemmas of practice and using various forms of data to help them improve their teaching and their students' learning.

  • What advice would you give to those considering a USM online education program?

    At USM, we allow students to pursue topics of their choosing in all courses. We believe each student should learn broadly about TESOL but also go deeply into topics that matter to them.

  • Why did you start teaching?

    I taught middle and high school English before becoming a university professor. I have always loved to teach. I learn as much from my students as I hope they learn from me.
